Get Month Name from date

Is there any direct function available in blueprism to get the month name from given date?

There is no direct function but you can achieve this in 2 ways i.e
1) By using a Choice stage.
2) By using code. (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/975531/how-to-get-the-month-name-in-c)

Hi AAH,

You can make use of the FormatDateTime function with parameters as MMMM.
If you want the short month (Aug) then you can use MMM.

yes i tried it but in output its comming as 'yyyy' only not the current year

Can you send a print of your calculation stage expression?

works fine for me.
Expression Result = 2019(text)
