How to identify city name

Hello Team,

I would like to get the city name (Rome) from the following text:-

Can someone please tell me the best way to achieve it.

Does your string follow similar pattern always? Meaning after first comma and before second comma ?

Yes.

Calc stage with the expression Mid([Data1], InStr([Data1], ", ")+2, 4) where Data1 has the string in the image attached will extract "Rome" for you.

Alright! your original question says to extract Rome, so i restricted the length. For dynamic text, the above suggestion does not apply.

For dynamic text, the easiest solution would be to use "Split Text" using comma (,) and pick the second row from output collection.

@jassi_123 Instead of splitting, you can rely on Regex pattern to get city name. Use 'Extract Regex Values' action from Utility String VBO. The regex pattern for getting city would be ",\s(?<city>\w+),".
