Out Of Memory Exception

I am trying to read an excel file with 300k entries and write them to a collection. While i am trying to do so , the following error pops up.
Please help or suggest any method by which i can solve this problem !!

Have you tried to split the file / data into smaller chunks? Have a look at the following thread as it discusses the same issue as what you are experiencing.
