BP v6.4 Browser Spy Mode - Chrome

Hi All,

When I use the Browser spy mode in Google Chrome, I am able to identify the search bar in the website (finance.yahoo.com). When I try and highlight it the following error pops out "Error - Highlighting results - No matching Web elements found".

With the UI spy mode it works, but it takes >25s to highlight.

Any suggestions on attribute management/matching?

The following are ticked in Browser Mode:
- Web Path
- Web Page Address
- Web Name
- Web ID
- Web Element Type

Thanks!

Well it's basically telling you that you need to try to fiddle with the attributes to see what matches.

Try Un-ticking everything but, Web Path. (unless it's blank) and see if that works.

Sorry for the late reply, I hope you have solved your issue by now!

I'm running BP 6.4.2, newest version og Chrome and no specific extensions.

EDIT:
I have now updated BP to 6.6 and it's still working fine. This time around I got more matching results only using the Web Path - However this was easily solved by ticking off another attribute to make it unique.

Hi Robin,

I haven't, which is really strange as I am running the same BP and GC version... Could you share the Web Path?

Thanks

EDIT: Solved! - Thanks Robin
