Code Stage

Hi Friends,

I am learning blue prism and last week I completed the AD01 Certification. Basically I'm from a Non-IT background and i would like to switch my carrier so I choose blue prism because it doesn't require programming language. But I would like to know whether we can survive without coding knowledge. I have not used code stage so far. Will real time projects require coding? I am looking for RPA developer jobs and most of them require coding so can anyone give your suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

The simple answer is "It depends". Code stages are not a requirement within Blue Prism. However, it depends on your use case. If you need to integrate with some legacy SDK or perform some logic of which there's no current VBO available, then you may need to implement some logic within a Code stage. Ultimately, if you want to be the best possible RPA developer you can be, you would benefit from learning a little VB.Net or C# so that you can leverage Code stages if such a case arises.

Cheers,
Eric
