ERROR: Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: Unable to get the Open property of the Workbooks class
Stage Name - Open Workbook


Facing this issue while running the process from control room.
Working fine when I am running it from process Studio.

It might be connected with access rights. Make sure the file is accessible for any user/resource.

I'm getting this error using Open Workbook action. Does anyone know what is causing this error.

If you search Google on that particular error message you'll find there are various reasons that can contribute to this error such as:

- Improper permissions on the file or folder relative to the credentials the digital worker is running under.
- Incorrect or corrupted installation of Excel on the machine where the error occurs.
- A misconfigured/corrupt Excel plug-in.
- etc.
