Solved Launch Application Without Application Moduler

Hi Guys,

How can we launch WebApplication/Window Application without Application Moduler in business object .

Please help out.

Hi @Vimal25

There is no way you can spy or launch an application/web page without using the application modeller. You need to add the path of the Windows file or Web Address on the Application modeller, then you can launch it by using the Navigate stage. That is the only way to launch a file.

The Business Object called “Utility - General” contains an action called Start Process. You can use this to start an application via its .exe file.

However, you won’t be able to spy anything on the application so interaction will prove difficult.

You can attach to another program and use image recognition to navigate through the application. You will have to use the start process action as Rob said first.
