Even after updating the SMPT port , I am still receiving the same error : The remote certificate is invalid.

I am using the Email - POP3/SMTP Business Object for Sending Email. However I m receiving error stating: "Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure."
