Not able to spy the HTML element

Try Opening "Application navigator" and check the properties definitely you will get the text but lot of properties will come you just need to find for that particular properties.

I understand, but as "Harika" says when identifying items in the browser he shows them disordered

Below are a few options to try:
- The green HTML mode band at the top shows some garbled text. So at first try to correct that.
Refer Post #7 and make the necessary changes.

After doing this change, see if there is any impact in spying that element.

You might also need to change different screen resolution settings and check again.
For example in the above link it worked for 150%. You need to check with 100%, 125% and so on.

- Also try making the Compatibility View settings changes to this site in IE.
 
I got the same issue and i opened the application navigator(Identify dropdown), and randomly selected different elements in the tree view and at one point my element got highlighted....
