Bot scheduling

Hello Experts,

I am working as a Business Analyst in an MNC. I need your guidance regarding an issue with bot scheduling in Blue Prism.

We are using a bot to run multiple processes in a day. We need to use it very efficiently.

Example - one process ends at 4:00 PM and we want to run next one at 4:01 PM, i.e. after a gap of only 1 min. Is it possible? Is is advisable to do? Any standard practices for bot scheduling?

Hi,

You could setup the schedule in different ways.

One scenario is to have Inputs to every process with "Stop Time", so that you could control the stop from scheduling. To minimise the risk that a case takes longer than the "Stop after time" value is set to (unless you have built in "check for stop" every where in the process) , change the settings for what you think a "longer" case can take:

Another scenaro is to have all processes that should run during the day in a consecutive sequence:
