Error: External AppMan reader thread exited before response from query

Hi,

while automating a browser-based app, I randomly get the error "External AppMan reader thread exited before response from query". This occurs after I successfully attach the window.
Once this happens, the process kills iexplore.exe, launches the app again, but then 'Check attached' returns True (even before I attempt to attach it). So I detach in order to attach again, but detaching gives another error: "ReadThread is no longer alive".

Any ideas on this please?

Hello everyone, I am facing the same issue while trying to highlight an element that I have spied using Accessibility mode. I reached Blue Prism support team, hopefully they will offer some solution. I will reply as soon as I have it.

I got the same problem. I wander that does this only happen when we use external model in Application Modeller?
