Microsoft ACE.OLEDB 12.0 provider not registered on the local machine

Hi

While using Data OLEDB i am getting below error "Microsoft ACE.OLEDB 12.0 provider not registered on the local machine". To resolve this issue i've downloaded "Microsoft Access database engine 2016. But still getting that error. Am I doing correct?

Also I want to fetch data from excel workbook which contain more 150K data. I've came to know that by using DATA OLEDB we can fetch data from excel workbook based on query. Kindly help to understand. I've found few posts related to this issue but those were not detailed. I have office 2016 professional

I encountered similar issue. But I'm working with Office 365. It solved after I installed Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable

Download access data base engine 2010 32-bit even though your system is 64 bit still download 32 bit then it will work for sure.....
