Process Speed

Quick question...
So in the Studio Design you can set the speed of the process when testing and debugging a process.

My question is if you set it to the fastest speed...is that the same speed it will run at in Production when I release it to run without intervention?
Because I'm trying to gauge how long a process will run once released to production so is the fastest speed in testing mode the same speed it will run at in production once released?

Hi smithmrk,

While running the processes at both places (fastest in Process vs Control Room), I have observed that the speeds were not the same.
To gauge their speeds you can run the process in fastest mode and see the Start and End Time in the logs and do the same when run from the Control Room with the same set of inputs in both cases, and then calculate the time difference.

The Production Server is generally cleaned up which runs any application or process faster, but the exact timing can only be told after seeing the difference in their start and end times.
